Twins and Beyond is a 501(c)3 non-profit support group for families with multiple-birth children. We are based in the Eugene/Springfield area in Oregon. We serve all of Lane County and the surrounding counties as needed. Our goal is to create a unique community where families are able to connect and share in the many joys and difficulties of raising multiples.
WHAT WE OFFER
Listed below are the benefits included when you join Twins and Beyond.
CLOTHING & GEAR
We have a variety of items available for families to borrow. Some items include double/triple strollers, infant swings, pack 'n plays, twin nursing pillows, clothing (preemie and up), parenting books on multiples and much more!
We have annual events that all of our families are invited to attend. The following is a list of some of our events.
Parents' Night Out
Valentine's Day Social
Easter Egg Hunt
Mom's Night Out
Dad's Night Out
Our playgroup pods meet once a month to engage in a fun activity, interact with fellow multiples, and allow parents to connect!
Siblings are welcome to attend the playgroup pod of your multiples' or the playgroup pod of their own age group if desired.
Pods may vary from year to year based on what ages we have.
The following are the playgroup pods we have for 2020.
Seahorses: Expecting & under 1
Penguins: 2's & 3's
Seals: 4's & 5's
Wolves: 1st & 2nd Grades
Polar Bears: 3rd Grade+
SELLING & BUYING OPPORTUNITIES
We host an annual garage sale located in the giant Crescent Meadows neighborhood garage sale. This provides an opportunity to sell your items to a mass amount of people in one day!
In our members-only Facebook group, you have the opportunity to sell/buy items year-round as well. This is especially beneficial because with multiples it is often difficult to find, for lack of better term-multiples, of things.
Most items listed in our Facebook group are offered as a 'pass along' item. This means they are being gifted to the next set of multiples under the contingency that when they are done with the item, said item will then be 'passed along' again to the next set of multiples.
MEALS FOR NEW PARENTS
We understand how hard it is when you bring home a newborn, let alone-multiple newborns! That's why we provide dinners for two weeks once your babies arrive home. This way you can focus on your precious new additions and not 'What's for dinner?'.
PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP
We have a members-only Facebook group where you can ask questions, get advice, and share your experiences with families who are living through the same unique reality you are.
We would love to add you to our growing community of over 70 families with multiples! To enjoy all of the benefits listed above we request an annual tax-deductible membership due of 20.00.*
*We acknowledge that the current pandemic may have financially impacted families in our area. For that reason, we have reduced our membership dues to 10.00 for the rest of the 2020 year. Any overages paid will be forwarded to next year's dues.
We have a limited amount of scholarships available as well. These are offered by request for families going through hardships. In addition, we offer reduced membership dues for families participating in OHP, WIC, and SNAP programs.*
Please click the buttons below to submit your membership dues (check the box to share your email or leave your name) and fill out our member questionnaire. Our team will respond as soon as possible to get you started!
Thank you and we look forward to adding you to our extraordinary community.
*If you'd like to apply for a scholarship or reduced membership dues, please send us a message via the contact form at the bottom of the page.
